Certificate Services in Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2/SP2

This Tutorial applies to: Windows SBS 2003

How to install, configure, and operate a semi-public X.509 certificate authority (CA) in a small- to medium-sized business. This document describes a moderately risky configuration in that the CA runs on a server with a relatively large attack surface (i.e., multiple publicly-accessible services). Organizations with stricter operational security requirements should consider deploying the root CA on a separate server, at the very least.
